No, not London fog. London Blog!

Good day, everyone! If I didn't already tell you, I'm going to be spending fall semester in London with the IWU London Program! I wanted to make a site for you all to read about my adventures in London and elsewhere, if you're interested. I'm not leaving until August 30th, but I revamped my old site now so it would be ready before I go. I'm going to be living in a flat in St. Johns Wood with some really cool people from my school: Liz Huffstuttler, Liz Schroeder, Liz Wiegel (yes, 3 Liz's!), Allison McKey, Leslie Coleman, Patrick Halloran, Sam Killian (doesn't he have the coolest sounding name ever?? Susan knows...), Ryan Smith, Matt Majernick, Jon Flaherty, and my great friend Jen Dawson (yes, two Jen's too!)! We'll be taking classes at the University of London, but we won't be enrolled there. Dr. Hatcher from my school is taking us and teaching Religion After Empire, along with organizing a bunch of cool trips and stuff. Then we'll have 3 British professors teaching us Shakespeare and Others in the London Theater, History of Art, and History of London. We won't be in the classroom that much, I don't think, because we'll be going to museums and taking walking tours and things. "London is our classroom" as they tell us. Sounds good to me! I plan to take some weekend trips to Ireland, France, and maybe Scotland, and at the end of the program, I'm going to travel around a bit, most likely to Italy and/or Spain.

There's still a lot of summer left, though, even though I've been home for almost 2 months (wow!). I'll just be trying to make some money, spending time with family and friends, trying to figure out what to pack in my one suitcase that will contain everything I'll use for 4 months, and having some fun! I might post some more this summer, I'm not sure. But I hope you all have a great summer and fall!
